Phil Barrett has written a series of timely reminders of design based strategies to beat an economic downturn. Useful reading for any business-type or user experience practitioner trying to sell to businesses in troubled times. To quote:

The economic prospects for 2008 don’t look too promising for the world’s most developed economies. We’re in for a slowdown, or possibly something worse.
